Red Deer Copycat

Red Deer Copycat

Bradgate Park, Leicestershire - 29 August 2005

With a promising weather forecast I headed to Bradgate Park at the end of August to get the lay of the land before the red deer rut (when the stags engage in fierce mating battles). I watched this hind with its offspring as they interacted with each other, providing some nice photos. I really like this one as the calf copied its mother.
