Bradgate Park, Leicestershire - 9 October 2005
I headed to Bradgate Park at the start of October to photograph the red deer during the rut (when the stags engage in fierce mating battles). Due to a cold evening beforehand, there was a nice mist hanging over parts of the park first thing. I came across this group of red deer on the edge of woodland, with the mist hanging just above them, giving a nice atmosphere to this shot.
