Donna Nook, Lincolnshire - 12 December 2004
A grey seal colony come in to the mudflats at Donna Nook each winter to breed, so I headed out there for the first time during the winter of 2004/2005. Watching this grey seal pair mate was almost violent at times as the bull dominated cow, however at other times was very gentle. I like how I managed to get eye contact from the cow in this image.
